They are A+++ at actually doing the eyebrows but bad at everything else. Bro every time I pull up after making an appointment there’s always like 2-3 people waiting in front of me and I end up on the chair 20 min later. I’ve been there around 10 times now and only the very first time I went did they have me on time. Good eyebrows but book you appointment 20 min earlier than you plan on showing up
I had a great experience at Sovan’s Eyebrows Threading. The staff was very professional and paid close attention to detail. My eyebrows look very natural, exactly what I wanted, especially for men’s eyebrow threading. Clean place, quick service, and excellent results. Highly recommend.
Roshani (Rose) did an amazing job threading my eyebrows. She was very patient always checking in to make sure I was comfortable. She continuously checks twice to see if anything is left. She has a fantastic personality that makes her a great artist. I work around the Oakland area. Whenever I get a chance, I go see her. She is also available in the Oakland location, mostly on Sundays and Mondays. I am very thankful to find such an amazing place. I just love the way it looks.
I work around the corner and have been here a few times- normally with Rashila who is amazing but had someone new (Rachelle?) and she was so careful and detailed with my eyebrow threading! I like my brows thicker and just a clean up and without even telling her she kept them clean and not too thin! She went back and checked every detail and was super gentle. Also did upper lip and did very quickly and less painful than other places I’ve been!! Can walk in or if going after work busy times recommend an appointment. Walk up stairs and bathrooms are downstairs stairs where the other businesses are.
I’m disappointed with my experience here. I came in specifically asking to have my eyebrows shaped evenly, with a plan to leave certain areas untouched so they could grow in and be balanced over time. Instead of discussing the shape or mapping the brows first, she threaded and tinted them following the uneven shape they already had. This made the asymmetry even more noticeable. After taking pictures and showing her, she just pretended like they look even to her. Super lazy. Not to mention, she had horrible manners and no customer service.
