Yeah no, save your money. We will never be back. Honestly, this was some of the worst service I’ve experienced. We booked a VIP lane, only to arrive and find a children’s birthday party already seated in our booth. The bartenders were extremely rude and repeatedly served others who arrived after me, even though I was clearly in line first. I completely understand that it can get busy and that order can be lost occasionally but having it happen three times in a row felt excessive and frustrating. The bowling balls were also unusually greasy. This may have been due to the kids eating while sharing the balls, but regardless, it felt unhygienic and out of the ordinary. When the group beside us left, their food and mess remained on our side of the table for over 30 minutes. Three employees walked past it, and one even came to reset the lane but still left the mess untouched. We eventually had to ask a manager to have it cleaned up. Despite explaining how inconvenient it was, the response showed no empathy just a flat “okay.” Overall, it seems like a place with a great concept, but for the price and level of service, it simply isn’t worth it. We’ve been trying out different bowling venues around Calgary, and unfortunately, this has been the WORST experience so far. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this experience genuinely bothered me. Get staff who wants to do their job. not forced to.

We will not be back. Our older daughter was next door at a birthday party, so we thought we'd check this place out with our 4 year old. It was 5pm, not super busy. We decided we would eat first. Ordered by 515, at 6 my husband asked to check on the order. A guy came out with our receipt and said it had been spiked already, but the food must've gone elsewhere, he would refund it or reorder it. Our 4 year old was starving so we reordered it. Shortly after a girl came out and said the kitchen printer stopped printing receipts which is why our order was missed - this clearly was a total lie because the man before had our receipt in-hand. Get your stories straight. By 620 we had our order. I had a hot dog and poutine. The hot dog was cold in the middle and in the poutine the cheese curds were still ice cold. Even the metal tray the poutine came in was not warm..those things normally hold some heat. Whatever. We decided to play arcade games (there was now not enough time for bowling or mini golf), many machines weren't working, we would swipe, it would take our credits but not release the balls or start the game. There was also plastic on the floor for construction which my, and many other kids kept tripping over. None of the staff seemed to care about customer service or any of the mishaps. For a place with so much promise, we were incredibly disappointed.

Haven't completed the build-out yet. Lanes are by the hour. We finished 8.75 frames on our 2nd game on an hour rental. Wasn't able to complete the game. 4 players. Had the pins not properly reset a couple times and lost a few minutes resetting with no corrections made on the pins. Wear your own shoes if wearing sneakers, which is nice.

I recently visited the Splitsville Highfield location. They are currently undergoing renovations, so we played on an older lane with an older machine, which caused a few disruptions during the game. At the end of our time, the owner kindly offered us a free game because of the issues we experienced, and we were able to enjoy an extra 45 minutes on another lane. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I truly appreciated their hospitality. Once the renovations are complete, I believe this location will be even better. I definitely recommend Splitsville Highfield to my friends and look forward to returning with my family.

Our family had a fantastic time at Splitsville for Canada Day 2025! The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly, and the staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The lanes were clean, the food was great, and it was a perfect way to celebrate the holiday together. We're also excited to see the renovations and can’t wait for the arcade to be completed. Looking forward to coming back soon—thanks for the wonderful experience!
