The whole crew here is so awesome. The kids absolutely love being here and participating in the after school program and evening karate. Such a great way to blend an after school activity with discipline and self defense techniques. It’s challenging to find just a few words to paint the picture, but if you drop in on an after school session or evening karate session you’ll see first hand why SPFT is a top choice for kids and parents. All the staff are leaders with just the right blend of strictness and compassion. You’ll see even the few kids who misbehave are corralled back into a disciplined mindset with a positive reinforcement model.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My son Blake started with Saint Pete Fight Team when he was just 8 years old, and now at 11, he’s grown so much thanks to this amazing team! The coaches are awesome — they push the kids to do their best while still keeping it fun and encouraging. Blake has gained so much confidence, discipline, and strength since joining. The whole team feels like family, and the positive energy in the gym is unmatched. We’re so grateful for everything Saint Pete Fight Team has done for him — highly recommend to any parent looking for a great martial arts program for their kids! 💪🥋
Our family has been with St. Pete Fight Team from the beginning. It would be hard to imagine a better group of people. The instructors are all amazing, and the attendees are all warmly welcomed as family. It's what I imagine martial arts *should* be like everywhere.
We recently moved to St Pete Fight Team and couldn’t be happier. The staff to student ratio is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoy the daily video posts so I can see my kid in action.
SPFT has been great for my two kiddos in after-school care. My oldest, who is 10, BEGGED me for over a year to go here. She had friends here, and they said they always had so much fun. My youngest, who is 6, has also done well there, even with some communication challenges he faces. I'm hoping that continued participation will give him the added confidence he needs to be himself.
