I know that the workers will know exactly who I am writing this review, but who cares? They deserve it. My airline lost my luggage on the way to a wedding. In a desperate rush, I ended up at Statement. I N C R E D I B L E. The very kind and wonderful woman who helped me put together an insane outfit. I looked at it on the hangers and thought "hell no" put it on and immediately bought it. I got a lot of compliments. The photographers of the wedding actually took the time to come up to me and tell me how much they loved my outfit. This place is wonderful, and per my experience, everyone who works there is very kind and helpful. 10/10 (5/5 doesn't have quite the punch as 10/10 hahahah)
I was walking around and couldn’t stand the cold then I saw this gem. I was helped by Molly who gave me excellent services and taught me about monochromatic color scheming. We talked books and she loved “fourth wing” so you know she is awesome. I bought my beanie and gloves and guys they have a 50% sale going on. Go check them out and ask for Molly, FYI she is the owner!!!
Though some time has passed since my visit, the exceptional experience I had with Molly and her above-and-beyond customer service has stuck with me, and it’s definitely worth sharing! The world deserves to know how special this boutique truly is. Having worked in retail myself, I know how rare it is to find personalized, one-on-one service these days, especially in bigger stores. I set out to find a local boutique to support, and I’m so glad I discovered this gem. I visited towards the end of summer, hoping to refresh my fall wardrobe. I wasn’t feeling particularly confident and wanted outfits that would make me feel good. From the moment I walked in, Molly was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in helping me. Her mother was there as well, and together they made my shopping experience feel personal and fun. I told Molly what I was looking for, and she not only helped me select outfits, but also shared styling tips that were really helpful. One detail that truly stood out was the mirror outside the fitting rooms. Being able to step out and see the outfits in a more open space made the whole try-on experience so much better. Fitting rooms can sometimes feel cramped and make me second-guess everything, but not here! I came in alone, needing some opinions on my outfits, and ended up spending about two hours there, which I didn’t expect—but it was such a fun and confidence-boosting experience. Molly was attentive the entire time and helped me feel the best I’ve felt in a long time with trying on clothes. I’ll definitely be back to Statement Boutique when I need to update my winter wardrobe. I’m so grateful we have a boutique like this in our community. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with care and attention, stop in—you won’t regret it!
Statement is an important part of the north loop community. Molly, the owner, is extremely welcoming and is always thinking about her customers and their experience (always finding new local vendors, supporting other women owned small businesses, keeping up with the trends while still supplying the timeless classics). She’s set the bar high - for me as a BIPOC woman who has experienced non welcoming shopping experiences even from another women’s boutique in the north loop. I know I am safe with Molly and her gals. Quality of the goods are always top notch, returns/exchanges according to policy are always accepted without difficulty, dogs are always welcomed and given a treat! Statement is my husband’s favorite place to get me a gift because he knows I will always love whatever he gets coming out of the store. Molly ALWAYS wraps gifts so beautifully with the statement themed wrapping tissue and a bag. I’ve gotten countless gifts for important ladies in my life for the last 5 years.
