We’ve taken two of our cars to Street‑Free Auto Care. One for an oil change and most recently for a faulty battery connection. Instead of pushing a costly replacement, they found a smart fix that let me keep using the existing battery terminal and saved me hundreds of dollars. They also did a complimentary inspection of the rest of my vehicle, which I really appreciated. The whole experience truly lived up to the name and was completely stress-free. I’ll absolutely be bringing my car back here for future repairs.
Great experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent and I really appreciated getting updates and dates via text. They documented and photographed everything thoroughly, which made the process feel very transparent. I was especially impressed that they even have a live camera so you can see your car being worked on in real time. Overall, this was a smooth and trustworthy experience, and I’ll definitely be making this my go-to repair shop.
I used Yelp to submit my request for from multiple local auto repair shops for a P0303 cylinder 3 misfire code. Stress Free Auto Care on Stevens Creek was the first to respond via a phone call. Spoke to Kaden while told me they were running a 50% off sale on the diagnostic fee which is normally $270. The sale price would be $135. I thought this was a good deal so I brought my vehicle in. Ryan at the front desk told me that Kaden was mistaken by quoting that deal and that they would have to charge me an extra hour of labor for the diagnostic. Luckily Ony instructed Ryan to honor Kaden’s original quote by adjusting this in the system. After that mix up was solved everything went smoothly and quickly. Ony sent the diagnostic results the next morning and was very good and patient at explaining the results and recommended next steps. We decided not to proceed with the repairs since the cost was astronomical. The labor rate per hour alone was $250 which is insane. Ryan told me “hey this is car dealership row” and the prices are going to be the most expensive around. That’s a shame but the reality I guess of living in Silicon Valley.
I brought a 2020 Chevy Bolt here for a pre-purchase inspection and was really impressed with the speed and communication. They completed the inspection in just about 2 hours, which was perfect timing for me to go do some shopping nearby while I waited. The team was incredibly transparent. They found some rust and braking issues during the test drive, but rather than just handing me a list, they took the time to answer my questions and explained exactly what the repair process would look like if I chose to move forward. I really appreciated the text updates throughout the process—it kept me in the loop without me having to call in. I will definitely be coming back here for future service needs!
Exceptional Service! Fast, Reliable, and Affordable Nail Puncture Repair I had a nail lodged in my tire and was worried about a flat. When I contacted them, they immediately checked it out for me. They were able to fix it right on the spot for only about $50 to $60, which was incredibly affordable. What stood out even more was their excellent communication. They sent detailed updates via text message, which was extremely helpful and reassuring. I am absolutely impressed by their quick, reliable, and reasonably priced service. I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be a returning customer.
