Update 4 months later: SHFC had availability for me within 24 hours of reaching out to them for a sprain I incurred over the weekend. Dr. Michelle saw me again and followed up on my previous visit while also helping me with the new sprain. Just like last time, we started with an interview/description of the issue, then she performed some physical tests and range of motion exercises, then stopped to discuss what she noticed and how she would like to proceed with a treatment plan. I never felt railroaded into doing something I didn't understand or wasn't comfortable with. When she recommended an additional procedure, she was up-front in disclosing that insurance would likely not cover the procedure and what I should expect for an out-of-pocket cost (should I elect to undergo the procedure). Her guided stretching exercises were immensely helpful in targeting the affected areas and releasing the underlying tension. I am happier and healthier for having reached out to SHFC. -- Sunset Hills Family Chiro. was able to fit me in as a new patient with about a 1-hour notice which was a huge help when I awoke with neck pain that morning. The support staff all seemed friendly and understanding while still being fast and professional which is a tough balance. Dr. Michelle was nothing short of attentive and knowledgeable. From the moment we started conversing, I felt like I was being informed and included in my treatment procedure. There was a physical evaluation, followed by a discussion of her findings and what she would like to do, and only after my approval did we perform an adjustment. Dr. M was communicative throughout the adjustment and made sure I was comfortable with what was happening. I left SHFC with a greatly improved range of motion, a follow up appointment to make sure I'm on the mend, and a recommendation for an orthotic device for use at home that was based on my individual presentation. The desk staff is always very friendly and helpful. Dr. Free is great. He listens to all your explanations and answers questions in a way that you understand the cause of the issue and what he is doing to correct it. He never rushes no matter how busy they are.
Dr. Robyn Kuhn was professional and polite and took the time to listen to my issue. She helped relieve my pain. Her staff was friendly and helpful.
I have been with Sunset Family Chiropractic for almost two years. The treatment they provided is top notch. The atmosphere in the building from the moment you walk is a family feeling that you can’t get at every drs office. My whole family goes and loves going every time they have an adjustment.
