I don't recommend it. They don't use fresh salmon, it seems to be defrosted, the hand roll is poorly made, and my husband said it was the worst he's ever tasted. The yakisoba tastes like it's made with pre-made seasoning. Furthermore, they serve tap water. They don't sell bottled mineral water, which is ridiculous for a restaurant that charges such high prices for bad food. This restaurant is great for anyone who has little to no experience with good Japanese food.

Amazing! We were visiting the area from KC and decided to try this place - so glad we did! The food was amazing and fresh, service was great- everyone was so kind and made sure we were well taken care of, restaurant was clean too!

Sushiya is my new favorite sushi spot in town! Service is always top notch - I request for Anthony to serve me every time. He is always so accommodating and attentive. The sushi I order always comes out consistent and tastes delicious every time. They also have hand rolls, which is unique to any sushi restaurant here in Wichita. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. This place deserves more recognition! Try out Sushiya when you have the chance - you won’t regret it!

It was my first visit and I loved the calm and nice atmosphere. I think it's a great place to come with friends or with your lover. The place was clean and the staff was nice to me. Most importantly, the food tasted great. It left a lasting impression on me and I think I will come here often in the future. Especially the tempura was very crispy, so I ordered more. I really enjoyed the poke salad as an appetizer, and needless to say, the other rolls were great.

This location has excellent sushi and great service. Overall, I enjoyed it. The outside sitting could use some improvements to make it feel more comfortable and accessible for patrons and waitstaff. The sushi was fresh, and the rice was perfectly sticky. Nice addition to old town.
