Situé au 8 6th St, San Francisco, Tú Lan est un restaurant vietnamien modeste et très apprécié, proposant des plats authentiques, des soupes et des plats de riz, tous préparés à la commande. Les clients louent les saveurs faites maison, les rouleaux impériaux emblématiques et la cuisine ouverte. Le personnel amical et bien formé, ainsi que l'ambiance accueillante, brillent, avec les plats à emporter comme option idéale lorsque la foule se fait sentir; le phở au bœuf se démarque pour de nombreux convives.

Pho vietnamien authentique avec un bouillon riche, des herbes fraîches et diverses pièces de bœuf, servi avec de gros os de bœuf.
Vermicelles au porc grillé avec viande grillée et rouleaux impériaux, ainsi que des plats de riz savoureux tels que le riz frit au curry.
Rouleaux de printemps faits maison célèbres, rouleaux frits, et des plats uniques tels que le curry de galette de haricot aux crevettes et le poisson à la sauce au gingembre.
Desserts traditionnels tels que le flan coco-pandan au sirop de gingembre pour clore parfaitement le repas.

My family and I went in December 2025. I ordered the fish in ginger sauce and the rest of my family ordered pho. We highly recommend both! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and craving something warm and filling. The only downside is that this is in a really rough part of town.
I first went to this restaurant 30 years ago and have not visited for 20 years. Great hole in the wall Vietnamese, SF restaurants how they used to be. Food quality has not deteriorated - not quite pho from the streets of Hanoi but not far off. They have the most unusual, in a good way, deep fried rolls. Definitely worth a try. It may be in one of the worst parts of town, but hold your nose, watch where you step and make the trip visit one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the country
Great cold vermicelli here. Grilled pork is pleasantly charred and the imperial roll is aggressively seasoned. Bun Rieu wasn’t bad but somewhat different (less fishy) than I’d prefer. Tried the shrimp bean cake curry last time and absolutely loved it. The curry combination fried rice is satisfying and enormous. I imagine everything on the menu is delicious—look forward to trying it all. Save room for the coconut pandan flan which has a nice ginger syrup.
I have been here many times, usually when I am in the area with a hungry appetite. The thing that driven me for my first visit was, I was watching a video on YouTube about this place showing their homemade and delicious foods along with their famous eggrolls. Their menu consists of many authentic Vietnamese dishes to choose from, soups, rice plates and much more. You can either sit on the bar top that gives you a view of their open kitchen when they are preparing your food or you can choose to sit at one of their tables. Everything is made to order just the way I like it since I never mind the wait because I am a very patient person. At times it can be crowded where the best options is for takeout or if you do not mind waiting just like me. The staffs here are welding, well trained and understanding where I never had an issue at any of my visits. You may not notice this place at first while driving by unless you come to a complete stop, because this place is basically the definition of a hole in the wall spot. Lastly this place is good for all group sizes or if you want to go solo that is good too. I highly recommend this place to anyone on a limited time, if you want to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
This place serves an excellent beef pho. It comes with big beef bones. The soup was perfect and the noodles were great too. The various types of beef meat were all great mix together. I also love the herbs and veggies come with it. Sensational experience. I came here to enjoy Pho every time I visit San Francisco.
