The National Open for boxing was in NM. One of my husband and kids best fighter is Johnny Tapia so what better way to surprise them by working out there. Coach Jayla along with the other coaches were very good to us, they welcomed us with open arms and even showed us a running trail up Sandia Mountain. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to work out. Great gym, great people!
Great people opened up the gym for us while we were in town for the nationals..made us feel at home thanks Coaches !!!!
I can’t say enough amazing things about this gym. my daughter Lee walks around with her head held high, feeling proud that people believe in her & are cheering her on in & out of ring. She’s learning that sometimes we lose in life but that doesn’t define who we can be come. The relationships she’s building with the coaches is truly a blessing. From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone at Tapia Team. Oh & the workouts are awesome :)
My son was interested in boxing classes and we started looking around at different gyms. The first day I dropped in to this gym for a trial class I knew this was the one because of how the team and coaches approached my son. They are very welcoming and inclusive. He’s been going for over 5 months now and loves it, now my other son has joined and they are learning a lot more than just boxing.
3 months ago I signed up my kiddo for the 3 day trial. Being there it just wasn’t a good fit. Had nothing to do with the staff, mainly because it’s smelled like cannabis. The smell came from the business next door which is not on them. However, that same day I sent and e-mail as it states in the website to cancel the trail and stop all charges. No response tried calling no response. 3months latee I am still being charged when I call I’m told we will take care of it and call you when it’s been fixed and refunded. That has not happen, I had to do through my bank to dispirited the transaction and request a new card #.
