Previous reviews steered me to this business and I have no regrets. I brought my own VIOFO dashcam (front/rear) to the shop for installation. We setup an appointment in advance (they are busy, so you may need to wait 1-2 weeks) and the job was done in 1.5 hours. I waited in the office where I could work on the WiFi while waiting there. Everything was done perfectly, the price I paid was very reasonable. Even though I am comfortable making small updates to my vehicle, I just did not want to get frustrated hard-wiring a dash cam - I just wanted it to work. This is exactly what I got, I handed over the camera, the hard-wire kit and the memory card to Nick and all was taken care of. All I had to do was to drive there, wait in a comfortable setting and pay. Who could ask for more? Thank you, Nick and team. You are awesome.
The Car Audio Shop is phenomenal. Nick and his team are experts at their craft and they provide great customer service. They installed a dash cam on my Audi and I was not 100% happy with the dashcam itself. Nick went above and beyond to help me get the dashcam swapped out to a different dashcam right away. He did not charge me for the additional work to install the new dashcam even though it was my fault for not doing enough research before I chose the first dashcam. These guys take care of their customers, have fair pricing, and do great work. I highly recommend them.
Here are the three reasons I'll go back here next time: 1. Delivering on commitment and value for money. 2. They stand behind their work. My rear dashcam needed repositioning, so I brought it back in and they fixed it immediately, with a smile. 3. Nick talked me out of spending more money than I needed to. I asked him for a quote on replacing all my speakers. After listening to my system carefully, he recommended keeping two of the existing speakers, saving me money.
Nick and his team were awesome to work with for installing both an upgraded sound system (speakers, amp, subwoofer, and DSP) as well as a front-and-rear dash cam. The communication was clear, the pricing was fair, and the attention to detail was excellent. The new system sounds incredible — warm, full, and smooth — exactly what I was hoping for. I couldn’t recommend them more highly to anyone in Austin looking for a professional, trustworthy shop that takes pride in their work.
I just had my stereo upgraded in my car and they definitely know what they are doing and installed a superb audio experience that was definitely previously missing.
