I just moved to Arizona this June and the cARTel quickly became my favorite place to come to. They have everything an artist could possibly think of using. The owners are so beyond kind too:) they always have snacks out and sometimes even live music in the studio! I highly recommend the cARTel, Its a place of total creative freedom.

If you want a place to play with whatever type of art you do, this is the place to do it. Located in Gilbert, a private home with a huge space devoted to art and artistic ventures. Supplies for just about anything you want to do ( watercolor, acrylic, collage, sewing, assemblage, woodworking, journal and book making, jewelry and more), are readily available so if you have ever wanted to try a medium without buying all the supplies before you know how well you like it, the cARTel is the place. A fun atmosphere where kindness and sometimes harmless sarcasm, prevail. A nurturing group of artists who are more than happy to share techniques and knowledge. Classes, and even an annual show so you can have a chance to sell your best creations. Open every Thursday from 9-5 and some Saturdays from 9-5. Fun fun FUN!!
