Great value with $1 oyster Fridays and flights of 3 oz pours to get a variety of tastes. A convenient alternative to Zudar's for oysters now that Zudar's closed. Wines and flatbreads are tasty; happy hour specials before 6 pm. Helpful and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
We were really looking forward to our visit to The Cork Room, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. We ordered two wines (which arrived quickly) and two food items — baked Brie and crab cakes. After waiting an hour, only the Brie arrived. Another 30 minutes later, we were told they were out of crab cakes entirely. The waitress was apologetic and comped our wine, which we appreciated, but the extremely long wait times and lack of communication really soured the night. Hoping this was just an off evening, but it left us hesitant to return.
The Cork Room is a hidden gem! It’s the perfect blend of class and comfort, with an incredible selection of fine wines and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, offering something for every palate, and their wine tasting events are always a fantastic experience. Plus, the owner, John, is truly the best, making every visit feel special. If you love great wine and good vibes, definitely check out The Cork Room—and don’t forget to join the Wine Club!
This is an excellent place for a very nice glass of wine and small bites. They have an exceptional selection of wines by the glass. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Our server, Sophie, was knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great place for a drink and snack in a relaxed setting.
The Cork Room is a gem on Davis Islands and our go-to spot!! Best wine bar!! Delicious food (obsessed with the deviled eggs and chicken piccata skewers) and great wine selection. Their wine tasting events are fantastic and the owner, John, is literally the best. We love the Cork Room and highly recommend joining the Wine Club too!
