My go-to wine spot! It’s right in my neighborhood, and I’ve always loved their Thursday wine nights. Starting in 2026, they switched to Wednesdays — still just as great! Highly recommend Wine on Water Street for anyone who enjoys a relaxing evening with great wine and atmosphere.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I always have such a pleasant experience here and every single recommendation is always so good and the pricing is very good in my opinion. Im a new wine drinker so l really appreciate being welcomed and everyone so kindly always offering a recommendation without being annoyed to my lack of knowledge. I think most places in Tampa suck, especially due to peoples poor attitude but no matter what day I come here, its always smiles and hellos. As a local business owner myself, I truly appreciate the care I receive here! Im so glad to have finally found at least one place I love in Tampa l hope it stays that way forever!
“I recently visited Wine on the Water and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. My friends and I felt repeatedly singled out and questioned about how we were paying for our drinks, which really left us feeling unwelcome. It was disappointing to experience what felt like biased treatment, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure all customers feel equally respected. Just something for others to be aware of.” And BTW! I paid a Platinum AMEX! How bout that??? And you’ve Lost this business as well as I will also be placing a complaint to my AMEX to ensure your never on this priority/rewards List!!! Treat all customers Equally!!!
I’m so grateful we have a wine shop called Wine on Water in Tampa. Every time I go there, it feels like home. Even though I’m a regular, there hasn’t been a single time they don’t treat me like a new customer. Morgan and her team always exceed with their knowledge and customer service. In addition to this, the selection of wines is unmatchable and prices are very reasonable.
This is a young professionals wind down spot or weekday happy hour. It’s the perfect place for beginners to learn about wine with their knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you can make it there on Monday for their Wine Divvy event then you HAVE TO GO! It’s a great way to try a bunch of wine and meet new people in a very friendly atmosphere.
