Update: I spoke with management and they were able to resolve the issue within a few days and issue the gift card. I really appreciate the effort they made to help me, I just wish communication was more prompt. Original Review: I bought a gift card over a week ago, the payment was processed but the card was never sent. I’ve tried contacting them several times and the only response I received advised me to have the recipient check their spam folder which they had many times. The only phone number is text only and they do not reply.
I've been coming here a few years now and they've done a really nice job improving the hitting bays. Much nicer tee matts, balls are mostly in good shape though should be cycled out more frequently, and the new tracking technology is very helpful since it's extremely hard to see ball flight and landing here against the industrial wasteland backdrop. Staff are always awesome and they actually helped me find a beloved lost sweater which was above and beyond (they looked three separate times for it and didn't give up) It may seem expensive but it's unlimited balls, nice covered facilities, and if you go Sunday morning its half price and a nice way to start a day.
Real fun time, they recently added a new tracking system to see how far you hit the ball. The food prices are pretty fair. The lane is $50/hr but you can fit up to 4 people so if you split it, it’s not too bad. Definitely a fun place to kill a few hours with the boys and get your drink on.
I normally love this driving range, however last night I had the worst experience. I visited a week prior, I played for an hour and the price was 30 dollars. Amazing time! Last night the staff greeted us rudely, we played for an hour and the bill was almost 80 dollars!? I asked why, they told me it was because they had put in new technology. They did NOT inform me of this, I didn't even know the new technology was there, I didn't use it. Still it didn't matter and I had to pay the 80 dollars. I think installing new technology is great! But its not great when you do not inform your customers about it or its price increase. Please communicate better. I will not be coming back.
The good: Nice view of the city. Good selection of drinks, lounge chairs and patio area to relax. Drinks are pricey but fair for downtown. The bad: No drivers allowed, only irons. No Tees allowed — not even the rubber ones commonly found at driving ranges. The ugly: Obnoxiously expensive for little value. $50/hour + tax for an IRON range. Parking was 6$ at entry. IMO, rates like this demand premium equipment, some sort of waited service, additional amenities like shot trackers and real grass. You are given a wood block with your lane number, and you have to keep your own time. No way to check how much time you’ve spent without going all the way back to the bar or asking a staff member to check for you. Staff were militant about the aforementioned rules and seemed uptight. Summary: Meh. Not a ‘driving’ range. Plenty of other options outside the city for a good range.
