Had a chance to visit when I was in Madison recently. What a great spot! I was looking for a particular machine and not only did they have the one I was looking for, but also 3 others that I love. Place is clean, machines are impeccable, and they have a great selection of beers! Big round of applause to the owners for bringing this gem to life in Madison!
Truly the greater Madison area’s best pinball spot. We frequent Kickback and have since they opened. It’s been awesome to see their game selection (and drink menu!) grow. If you’re looking for a huge selection of vintage and retro boards as well as fresh-off-the-assembly modern machines, this is the place to be. All games are quarter operated (no pesky tokens or game cards!!) All of the games are incredibly well maintained and clean. The staff here are lovely, providing excellent and friendly service every time we stop by. The spacious atmosphere is pleasant whether you come by during the day or late at night. For those who have left poor reviews due to this arcade hosting events, I’m sorry you choose to be grumpy rather than partake. There are multiple leagues offered here and they honestly share the space respectfully. It’s awesome to see a blossoming pinball community! All in all, this arcade is very much worth a trip (or many). Keep it up Kickback!
One of the best pinball arcades on the planet. It’s owned by some of the nicest, most hardworking people you’ll ever meet that have done a ton to help the community. Beyond the incredible pinball lineup, they have an excellent selection of drinks, including solid non-alcoholic options, plus just enough food to hit the spot. Kickback is easily one of the best places in the Madison area to relax, hang out, and have fun playing pinball.
Love this place. Great on a Sunday afternoon to catch a game… play some pin ball or Mario kart! Great cocktail menu and beer selection. Snacks / apps include pizza, giant pretzel, or chips and salsa. This really is a solid spot to burn a couple hours with friends.
One of my favorite places! You dont come for the food and drinks, you go here for the games! Pinball specifically but also Mario Kart and Ski-Ball! These machines all take real quarters, not some card you scan and have no idea what you are spending. Great selection of games and a few nice old school arcades! Make the trip! Its fun and so low-key!
