The Sweatered Hen est un restaurant très bien noté à Calgary offrant une expérience délicieuse de petit-déjeuner et de brunch. The Sweatered Hen is a wonderful spot downtown, and I have gone several times to eat there with my husband. Originally the restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who mentioned it is female owned, and I always want to support that. The aesthetic of the restaurant is mid century modern - I personally wanted to find those dining chairs for my own house - and the menu is delicious with lots of options that hit both savory and sweet. My personal favorite is the Liege Waffles, and my husband quite enjoys the BBQ Brisket bowl. We highly recommend you trying it out!
What an incredible spot!! Service was fast, ambiance was cozy/stylish and the food, well what can I say? Outstanding. Tasty. Great portion size. Definitely worth the price!! I got the special of the day (egg/spinach/mushroom omelette) and my friend got the avocado toast, and we ordered cookies to go. In a word: fantastic.
Absolutely loved this place! The food at The Sweatered Hen is amazing — I had the pancakes and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Super fluffy, topped with fresh berries, granola, lemon curd, and a drizzle of syrup. Everything tasted fresh and looked beautiful. The café has a cozy, relaxed vibe and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Great coffee too! Perfect spot for breakfast or brunch in Calgary. I’ll definitely be back!
Where can I start!! Drink recommendations by our lovely server was amazing! The bounty coffee was delicious and the presentation for the orange mimosa was like art! Our food just had to be the best part! I got the Carne Asada Bowl and my boyfriend got Birria breakfast tacos and wow we were amazed on how tasteful everything was! The first few bites of the potatoes were truly tasty and the rest was just chefs kiss! Hope to see this restaurant in Edmonton soon!
I never did partake in the food here, but as it was enjoyable, nevertheless, with a couple of cocktails. The ambiance was great. The patio was pleasant and our server was fantastic. It’s just unfortunate that they close early. Otherwise, I will definitely return on my next visit to Calgary. 👍😎
