We were a party of 12 from our dental office, and while the service was generally attentive and the staff polite, the experience left a lot to be desired — especially considering our total bill was around $500. While the chef was cooking at our table, we noticed a bug near the vegetables. It was unclear whether it came from the food itself or from the vent above, but either way, it raised serious hygiene concerns. Even more disappointing was what happened during one of the chef’s tricks. When I was unexpectedly asked to catch a bowl of rice and missed, the chef picked up the same rice that had fallen onto the countertop and served it to me. I was genuinely shocked but didn’t want to cause a scene in front of my colleagues, so I stayed quiet at the moment. However, it was extremely inappropriate and unsanitary for food that had touched the counter to be served to a guest. At this price point and setting, I expected far higher standards of cleanliness and professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better hygiene practices and guest respect going forward.

We had dinner tonight and the cook with long braided hair served my son husband and I a small portion of chicken and then proceeded to serve the other guests from our portions. We constantly have dinner here and it’s the first time we are served a poor serving.

If you want the Tepenyaki experience, be sure to call ahead for a reservation. We had no issues making one the same afternoon on a Friday night. The food was delicious but quite salty. Portions are large, with only 1 out of 5 of us finishing our meal. The cooking show was quite good and the cook interacted well with the child in our party. All food is cooked on the same grill, but the chef will ask ahead of time about shellfish allergies. Everything is also cooked in butter, so you may have to say something ahead of time if you're vegan.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and I’m always impressed by the quality and quantity of food, and high level of service. 18% added gratuity makes perfect sense because you are paying for the show that comes with the delicious food!!! You must order the steak and scallops. The crunch roll is amazing as well. If you still have room for dessert go for the fried ice cream.

Ordered the steak and chicken dinner comes with either soup or salad price was $ 36 since I went with the salad and opted to buy the miso soup food had good flavor probably would of preferred my meat cooked med instead of well chicken had a teriyaki flavor they offer teppen table cooking if you have a family or party of 5 due to covid all in all I'll probably eat there again ......came a second time ordered the sunset sushi $13.95 for the roll
