Wish I took photos but we were so hungry. We got 2 special rolls and 1 basic roll for 2 people and had 2 canned sodas. The food was perfect, beautifully plated, and filling! The service was outstanding. Our server was kind with a great, friendly demeanor about her but not hovering. The place is narrow, but so clean and well-decorated in a clean, crisp way. We don't live in town, but come to Bakersfield often. We have gone to many sushi places and love them all, but this one is right on our route to leave AND the place was the cleanest I've seen with the most variety of rolls, and to top it all off, it was cheaper for our 3 rolls than 3 rolls normally elsewhere. Will definitely be back in as soon as we go to Bakersfield again!

Truly a hidden gem in bakersfield! The place is clean, cozy & simply exquisite. The presentation is creative & beautifully executed. Also the customer service is welcoming & timely. Our food was out in less than 20 minutes of ordering.

Absolutely phenomenal! Pleasant people, great service, fantastic good and a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Kuma Sushi in downtown Bakersfield. As someone that has very high standards for restaurants, I can definitely say that Kuma Sushi passed with flying colors. The server was a short distance away, kept an eye out on our glasses and refilled them when necessary and step in to ask if we needed anything at the perfect time. The food was delicious and filling. The ingredients were fresh and had a great presentation. Lastly, I can't express how welcomed, Judy, the host made my fiance and I feel while we waited for a table. We will definitely be dining here again.

4.2/5 for the food. Got the baked salmon roll, seafood udon, chicken teriyaki, and yakisoba chicken. The udon and teriyaki were good but nothing special, the yakisoba, shrimp shumai, and baked roll was pretty good though. Amazing service too
