Tommy is the best! I have learned so much about harmony analysis, reharminization, playing from lead sheets. Learned all my 7th chords and their inversions. Working on 9th and 13th. Need more work on 11th, but recognized a 13th with a #11 in my harmony analysis.
My children have been taking lessons for a year and have already grown so much. Not only in their skill, but also in their love for the piano itself. Tommy is a wonderful piano teacher. He helps each student with technique and theory while teaching them songs that they love. We especially love the recitals that Tommy puts together. It is clear how much Tommy enjoys teaching and music.
Tommy is an excellent teacher that strives to get to know his students individually and their personal interests, which helps keep them engaged in lessons! My son really looks forward to his lesson each week and is making great progress!
