The guys in the Newport shop were super nice and extra helpful. I came in with a shattered screen on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Came back an hour later to a perfectly gorgeous new screen. No issues, no funny business. I left there a very happy camper.
I’ve taken a few devices here and have been happy each time. They’re always nice, honest and accurate about how long the repair will take. They also give 10% military discounts.
I dropped my xbox Series X off 2 weeks ago for a hdmi repair while the repair was being fixed they broke a chip which is understandable and they did pay for it but what isn’t is that one of their employees kept being dishonest about when it would be done i don’t know if it’s a lack of communication between the team or not. One of their employees has been more than truthful about it but with the other telling me lies to make me hopeful just for me to call in and hear it’s gonna be more or a wait than promised is ridiculous. mind you this was a 3-5 day repair and they said i was first in a line and i was pushed back to what i assume is the end of the line, just go to the one in ohio probably cheaper and more upfront. Never taking something here again
I brought my (working) phone in here for a battery replacement. After a few hours with the phone, I arrived to be told they couldn't fix the battery but would give me the phone back as it was. I got the phone home and it wouldn't connect to a wireless network at all. They said that their DM James Yaeger refuses to take ownership and fix the phone or replace it, although it was broken in their care. I was fine with them not replacing my battery, I was not okay with them giving me a broken phone back. I took it to the carrier and was told that something has been broken internally that no longer allows the phone to be connected to a wireless network. Never take your electronics here for repair. They acknowledged it worked when I dropped it off and no longer does, but said they can't control their DM and told me to take it up with corporate.
Had to take my phone in to have the screen replaced and David was a life saver! Not only did he get the job done in just over an hour, but he also stayed a few minutes past close to make sure I could come get my phone back in the same night! Will definitely be returning for anything else I may need done in the future!
