I have my Smudge tribute tattoo! I am so grateful to @necromandi for the beautiful custom design and color work! I went to her with a bunch of pictures and my ideas, and Mandi found Smudge's playfulness and the special relationship we had. Thanks to everyone at @unkindnessart for such a welcoming, joyful place and making my first tattoo experience one that'll be hard to beat! The artists all do great work.
I’m pushing 30 and have never left a google review on anything in my life but I’m going out of my way to leave this review and highlight just how insanely talented and kind every single person in this shop is. At the risk of sounding like a bot I’ll leave the praise at that. Due to first hand experience though I HIGHLY recommend Jay for any lil freaky and/or nerdy piece your heart desires.
I had the best experience and am beyond excited to come back for my next tattoo! Where to start - everyone was so friendly, the art on the walls is absolutely gorgeous, and it was very clean. I came in for walk-in hours with a loose inspiration picture and Ian did an incredible job turning it into a custom beautiful, delicate fine line piece of art.
I've gotten tattooed twice here (soon to be three) and it's a fantastic scene. Everyone is nice and welcoming, not gatekeepy/judgy AT ALL, and seem to be genuine friends with each other. I recently had a full day session with Jay, who was also SO FUN to chat with, even as he was tattooing my knee ditch 😬. The vibe in the shop is immaculate, and they even offered to include me in their lunch order and I got to chill with everyone while we ate. Kingsley and Jay are extremely talented but everyone here is really superb. Will definitely be back!!
Super experience this weekend at Unkindness Art— fantastic shop, chill vibe, clean and efficient. The entire staff were welcoming, and so excited and supportive of each other. Kailyn Byers was beyond amazing! Excellent artist, totally professional and prepared, we got right into it. Our six hour session went by in a flash ;) I look forward to my next one!! Totally the place to check out!
