Vino Grotta à San Antonio propose un bar à vin inspiré d'une grotte, un restaurant et un lieu d'événements situé au 19338 Babcock Rd, Suite 209. Il présente une sélection de plus de 100 vins avec des recommandations d'accords, des petites assiettes d'inspiration italienne et des cocktails maison. Les clients profitent des offres du jour et d'un happy hour remarquable, avec un service chaleureux et compétent de la part du personnel, notamment Tiffany et Heather, et un soin attentif de la part de la propriétaire Kim et de sa fille. We had a friends outing here and we had such a great time. Amazing food. The live music was so wonderful and fitting with the ambiance. The employees were so knowledgeable about all the things. I had the wine flight, caprese sandwich, and affogato. Wow! Loved all of it. Just an overall great experience!
As soon as I walked through the doors I was welcomed by relaxing music and a stunningly beautiful atmosphere. It truly felt like a neat little grotto with seating seemingly carved and placed inside the walls, and even the bar top is a beautiful, lit up slab of quartz. The ambience and overall atmosphere was calming, pairing nicely with their vast wine selection and delicate Italian cuisine. You can tell everything is made from scratch, even the cocktails are homemade recipes. If youre not an avid wine drinker like me, they offer wine cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options. I tried their sangria and the mocha razz martini (pictured) which were amazing! I was greeted warmly by Heather who provided top notch service. She was friendly and accommodating even as the place became busier. The entire staff seem very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and food, as well as what pairs good with what. The owner Kim and her daughter Tiffany seem to truly care about the business and their customers, providing excellent service as well. Vino Grotta is such a little hidden gem, I will definitely be back!
Vino Grotta has quickly become our go-to neighborhood spot for a delicious glass of wine, wonderfully paired small bites, and amazing customer service. The selection of wine is impressive. We enjoy their daily specials and the happy hour is pretty hard to beat! The food is simply delicious and we love that they have seasonal features. The best parts of this bar, however, are the sense of welcoming and the amazing hospitality. Servers Tiffany and Heather are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and always take great care of us. We highly recommend Vino Grotta - certainly the best wine bar in San Antonio - and arguably in all of South/Central Texas!
Tried Vino Grotto tonight for date night as a wine enthusiast at the recommendation of the group, and y’all didn’t let us down. Over 100 wines and wine pairing recommendations with the small plates is well curated. My husband doesn’t drink alcohol but enjoyed the food and a selection of non alcoholic drinks.
What a gorgeous place with outstanding service! The gals that work here are just *chef’s kiss*! They were so very sweet and accommodating and they made my birthday and graduation very special, down to the custom birthday/graduation sign at our table. My party loved the wine choices they picked and the wine recommendations the staff suggested; I cannot wait to try more. This is a perfect cozy place to unwind in a beautiful atmosphere and live relaxing music on a Saturday night. The food was also so tasty and the portions are large! I left with leftovers. Everything we had was fresh and delicious! I had the grilled cheese and Gouda soup and will be getting that again next time. I would 100% come back for girls night out or date night with my other half. This is a hidden gem and everything is beautiful down to the detail of the silverware, decor, and glassware to name a few. I am so glad I found this place. We all left very happy and our expectations were exceeded! Thank you Vino Grotta so much for a wonderful birthday and memory surrounded by loved ones. I can’t wait til next time!
