Peace of mind received. I appreciate the fast, friendly, and professional care I received during my visit. Ms. Weir and CC calmed me down and got me going in the right direction immediately. Excellent Healthcare Professionals rarely receive the respect they deserve, and I want them to know that they’re doing everything right at this clinic. Thanks again!! ☀️♥️
I set an appointment for, 12:30pm. I completed pre-form online. When I arrived I was greeted, asked some information, did not need to wait, and was brought in to a room where I was greeted, where taken some vitals were taken. At this time I waited a short period of time and the PA arrived. She was very friendly and knowledgable. She answered all my questions and helped with my concerns. She did everything she stated, and more. I would not write this review otherwise. I would definetly come back if needed. Thank you to all who I interacted with!! One extra note, the person who I originally spoke to and set the appointment with was excellent too.
All of the staff were so friendly, explained every procedure. I didn’t wait long to be seen and I wasn’t required to stay hours upon hours before being seen. The nurses were so kind and asked questions about my veteran status and my experience in the service. They all genuinely cared and wanted to help me feel better. Not to mention, the PA was confident, knowledgeable and very efficient as well. Additionally, I loved the warm welcoming feeling there. They had a cute spooky decor, games for kids and they even have an assortment of drinks.
I visited WellNow in Greece twice in the last 2-1/2 weeks for a UTI. The first visit was absolutely wonderful - the NP listened respectfully, and when the dipstick culture was positive, she not only sent in a prescription to be immediately filled, but also sent me home with 4 pages of information. Unfortunately, the second visit was very, very different. A different NP, who I feel basically dismissed what I was saying (I knew it had either come back, or was not completely eradicated with the first course of antibiotics). I am 70 years old and know my body well - her cursory "exam" was not enough to base her attitude on. She asked few questions, and did no real exam - did not check my kidneys, or ask if I was having pain, fever, etc. The quick dipstick test did not show bacteria, however the rules said she had to send it off to the lab for further testing ...... which DID come back with e coli. As I said, I know my body, and I knew I was sick. Not only was the NP initially very reluctant to listen and prescribe another course of antibiotics, but when she did send in the script, it was not for immediate filling, but rather within 2-3 business days .... and this was a Friday afternoon, meaning I may not have been able to get the script until Tuesday (fortunately, the pharmacist was agreeable to filling it right away). On top of this - and this is what irks me most of all - one of the nurses was coughing and coughing and coughing. She was very obviously sick. 3 days later, I came down with a cough and cold. If you are working in an urgent care, or any type of medical area where patients whose immune system is probably already compromised due to their own illness - for crying out loud, stay home!! Now, I am not only fighting a UTI, but also a cold, congestion and a cough. Very, very bad policy WellNow. Send your sick nurses, NPs, receptionists, HOME!!! ****** Follow up .... I also wrote to WellNow with my complaint. They immediately responded, requesting my DOB and phone, so they could "talk to me" about it. I sent them the information .... and never heard back. I also requested and received my files, as I like to retain my own records. There are other issues I have with WellNow that I am not at liberty to discuss, however the bottom line is - after my own experience and doing a little digging into this organization - no matter how "nice" the employees are, I will never go back to this "doc in a box". The quality of care is horrendous, and they are not affiliated or "beholding" to any hospital - you are far better off finding an urgent care with ties to a local medical entity, where ever you are.
I give this urgent care a 5 start rating as it deserves it!! I was in and out of the appointment so quick, because I was able to schedule an appointment. The NP was so sweet she allowed me to listen to my breathing on the stethoscope, because I ended up having pneumonia. I felt very well taken care of, she went over medication and was very knowledgeable about the side effects medication would cus from the medication I’m already on. I would go back and I have continued to use this location for any non emergency needs. 😉
