The staff at Woodland Clinic were kind to me and treated me with compassion during a very emotional time. I truly believe they care about animals and the families who love them. However, I did have a heartbreaking outcome that I feel other pet owners should be aware of. My dog was already battling bone cancer, and during her visit she had a catheter placed. Shortly after, she had massive urine explosion, developed sepsis and passed away the next day. I understand that with serious illness, nothing is guaranteed, and I’m not writing this to blame anyone or claim certainty about what caused what. But as her owner, it’s hard not to replay every decision and feel deep guilt for even bringing her in when things ended the way they did. This loss has shattered me, and I will always wonder if anything could have been done differently. I’m sure many pets receive good care here, and the team was kind to me personally. I just encourage other pet parents to ask detailed questions, understand all risks, and be very clear on aftercare and warning signs when their pet is already in a fragile condition. I hope no one else has to experience this kind of heartbreak.
Staff truly care about your fur baby and treat them like their own. Dr Miller called me both before and after Millie had her surgery and answered all questions I had. I recommend Woodland west (both pet resort and animal hospital) to anyone looking for the best.
I was able to get my cat right in on a Sunday morning when our local vet was closed. Everyone I met seemed happy to be there, happy to see my cat (no matter how unhappy he got), and knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend them. Dr. Thomason was wonderful. I really appreciated her caring and unhurried approach. She knew what was happening with my cat and how to remedy the issue.
Very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Penny's Doctor! Dr B! I forgot her name! Sorry! I appreciated her professional opinion on my concerns regarding my dogs teeth and spay.
We keep Woodland West animal Hospital extremely busy! With having six dogs, it seems like there’s always something going on. Each and every time, everyone within the hospital has treated us with the utmost sympathy and care. We’ve seen every doctor there I believe and each and everyone of them have been so very good to us and given my dogs the best care!
