Yoga District H Street NE is an incredible studio with knowledgeable, welcoming instructors and a calming atmosphere. Classes are well-structured and accessible for all levels. The space is clean, relaxing, and inclusive. Every visit leaves me feeling refreshed, balanced, and energized. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a great yoga experience.
I love this studio so much! From the first time I took a class here, I felt comfortable and at home. The teachers are all amazing, some of my favorites are Deb (amazing yin and restorative classes), Sarah MC (my favorite morning flow), and Nikisha (loved the headstand workshop). With frequent free classes and charitable causes, this organization really embodies what yoga is all about.
I've been coming to Yoga District since April and have absolutely loved the inclusive environment and energy of the instructors! I am a regular at Sarah's Friday sunrise flow, and her class has been something I look forward to every week! I also have attended Nikisha's, Andrea's, and Emily's classes, and they are amazing as well.
Overall A very small spot for yoga with a lot of clases throughout the day from morning to late evening (8pm) for a decent price. I’ve visited this spot a handful of times since it’s a few blocks away from my apt. I appreciate the commitment to serve the community and stay affordable and inclusive. Things to note, arrive a few minutes early to check in with someone holding a phone or iPad with the class attendance . Cons: The building isn’t very accessible as they have super steap stairs to go inside. Also their ac isn’t the greatest, can get stuffy during the summer days. The weekend classes are super packed and you’re literally touching the person next to you so I avoid those (personal preference) Pro: You can rent a yoga mat for like $1 and pay via Venmo once inside the studio. Overall very friendly instructors, with chill energy, and there is plenty of free two hour or zone 6 parking around the studio. In terms of membership, I believe that the monthly unlimited fee is around $100. That includes yoga at the H Street location and all the others and online options. That’s affordable compared to other studios near by.
Great instructors, beautiful studio, and amazing organization! They are very community based with flexible fair prices, a mix of classes from easy to challenging (they have different levels you can check online for each class type) and at all different dates and times. As someone who's never been to an in person yoga class, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I will say, each class and instructors are different so having basic knowledge of yoga poses is very helpful to know beforehand (but not necessary). I would suggest taking different classes to fit your pace and needs! Overall love Yoga District!
