Account Deletion

You can delete your Poyst account at any time, from the mobile app or the web. Deleting your account is available to everyone and does not require contacting support.

Delete your account in the app

Open the Poyst app and go to Account → Account settings.
Tap Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Delete your account on the web

Sign in and open your account settings
In the Danger zone section, choose Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

What happens when you delete your account

Your profile is anonymized and your personal information is removed from public view. Your listings are deactivated and no longer appear anywhere on Poyst.

Sign-in is disabled immediately and you are signed out on all devices. Push notifications and emails stop.

Data we keep

Order, payment, and tax records connected to completed transactions are retained for as long as the law requires (for example for accounting and fraud prevention), even after your account is deleted.

If you have orders in progress — as a buyer or a seller — you must complete or cancel them before your account can be deleted.

Recovery window

Deleted accounts can be restored for 90 days by contacting support. After 90 days, deletion is permanent.
