When I moved to Austin, I quickly learned of Lago Vista as friends and coworkers had only good things to say about this place. Lago Vista has become my go-to spot for film and development. The staff is friendly and you simply cannot beat a 1-hour turnaround time. They also offer numerous services to meet your photography needs (including after-hour drop-off). Here are some medium resolution 35 mm scans from my Canon Sure Shot 85 Zoom shot with Kodak Portra 800

First time developing my new camera’s film, and I had an awesome experience here! The front desk person was super friendly and taught me how to properly rewind and remove the film. They also helped me choose the best developing options and gave me an accurate timeline for when the film would be ready. Everything was developed on time, and the quality is great. I have a half-frame camera, so I was pleasantly surprised by the results. 5 stars – love this place!
