Alex from 1423 Events was an absolute rockstar! She was the calm, cool, and collected woman we needed on an elaborate wedding day. She went incredibly above and beyond, setting up over 100 bud vases with fresh cut florals and a boatload of other signage and decor, coordinating an extensive vendor list, making sure all the details were exactly as we wanted them, and seeing everything through til the very last boxes were packed up to leave the venue. She kept the event running smoothly and efficiently, and I can confidently say that I did not feel the need to check on anything a single time throughout the day. She even went out of her way the next day to hand deliver a homemade decor item that was left behind by one of the bridesmaids to our in-laws 45 minutes away. If you are looking for a planner that will take all your worries away, hire 1423 Events and ask for Alex! One of the main reasons we chose 1423 was their package options. While I wanted to do all of the initial planning myself, their Wedding Day Management Package was a great fit, as it provided a few months of support leading up to the wedding to decrease the stress of final planning struggles.

We teamed up with Alex to help with month/day-of planning and coordination of our wedding at the Evergreen Museum at the beginning of November. Right away from the first meeting Alex instilled a sense of calm in us- she is very well-connected in the Baltimore area and already knew/had previously worked with basically every single one of our vendors, so she was already very familiar with the rhythm in which they all work and when we should expect all of our various milestones during the planning process. Once our wedding got closer, she made herself available round-the-clock for any questions/concerns we had, up to and including loading multiple car-fulls of DIY stuff at our house to help set the venue up. On the day of, Alex worked seamlessly with all of our vendors to ensure that everything went off perfectly; she came and found us only when she needed us to be somewhere but otherwise left us to enjoy our day to the fullest. We cannot recommend Alex and 1423 Events highly enough, top to bottom everything was handled with perfect precision.

I reached out to Erin, the owner of 1423, early in the planning process, and I immediately knew she was going to be amazing to work with. Our wedding included so many personal touches and unique moments that we wanted to highlight, and Erin’s attention to detail was truly unmatched. Even though many of our ideas were a little unconventional, she understood how meaningful they were to us and made sure everything came together flawlessly. Throughout the planning process, we had several calls with Erin, and she was always incredibly responsive, patient, and thoughtful. We both had a strong vision for our wedding, and she completely understood how important every little detail was. When the big day arrived, Erin and her colleague Alex were phenomenal. They handled everything seamlessly and brought such a calm, confident energy to the day. Most importantly, they built a great connection with Alison (the bride) and made her feel completely at ease knowing everything was in good hands. We truly can’t thank Erin and Alex enough for all the effort they put in leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. If you’re looking for a planner who’s organized, attentive, and genuinely cares about your vision, I can’t recommend Erin enough — she’ll make sure your day is everything you dreamed of and more.

Our experience with Alex was nothing short of excellent. She was quick to answer emails and texts, and set up numerous phone calls to accommodate our busy schedules in the run-up to the wedding. She handled the timeline with other vendors seamlessly, was present for all walkthroughs as well as the rehearsal, and was an invaluable asset to have by our side while planning our big day. On the day, she was absolutely everywhere, providing vendor coordination, making sure the bride/groom were where they needed to be when they needed to be there, and kept everything running smoothly. She even jumped behind the bar to pour a few drinks during as a makeshift bartender! I wholeheartedly recommend Alex and the 1423 crew to anyone who wants someone they can trust for a stress-free wedding day.

I truly can’t even put into words how much I loved working with Alex and the 1423 Events Team for my wedding in July!! If there is any vendor I recommend booking for your wedding it would be 1423 Events without a doubt! From the moment I met Alex she was so positive, easy to work with, and so knowledgeable in all things planning/coordination. Even when I thought I had everything figured out she would mention little details that I never thought of and ALWAYS had a plan/solution. From navigating possible rain to excruciating heat, Alex always found options and presented them to me with such confidence and calmness. I never felt an ounce of stress regarding any last minute change of plans knowing that Alex was there to help navigate them! On the day of my wedding, Alex went above and beyond! She was always there when I needed her all while working countless behind the scene operations so that everything ran smoothly. One of the best decisions I made was to hire 1423 Events! I went into wedding planning with the mindset that I could do it all by myself, but the day of coordinating really had me stressed out because I couldn't be there to direct everyone and make my visions come to life. 1423 Events came recommended to me by my venue, Mt. Washington Mill - Dye House, and I am so glad Alex Reilly got assigned to my wedding. I decided to go with the 4 month coordination, although I was really organized when it came to coordinating with my vendors, it was nice to have someone who was familiar with my venue to answer all of my questions and make me think of things that I probably wouldn't have thought of on my own. Alex answered 100% of my text messages and phone calls no matter what day of the week it was or the time of the day. She made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, even though I know she had a lot on her plate with my wedding being right in the middle of busy June wedding season. One thing Alex really helped me dial in on was my day-of wedding timeline. We had a large bridal party, 3 different photography locations, 140 guests, and a 5 hour reception. She listened to all of my requests, gave me suggestions, and was always opened to tweaks after speaking with vendors and their recommendations. We finalized the schedule just days before the wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. I have never been to a wedding where the ceremony actually started on time and I was SHOCKED when ours started at exactly 5:30PM! The entire night went so smoothly and so many of the guests actually commented on how everything felt so effortless with minimal stagnant downtime, something that was so so important to my husband and I. I truly couldn't recommend Alex and 1423 Events enough for your wedding!
