My experience with 160 driving academy was very helpful. The instructors, at the Jacksonville location made things very simple & easy to learn. However, Anton (Jacksonville) & Eddy (Orlando) help me understand controlling the trailer! Key points on the tractor & trailer. I’ve already recommended one friend & I will be recommending more to either one of those two. I feel exceptionally confident driving after learning from them.

160 driving academy was a great fit for me. I have a we’re all grown mentality and understand what we’re here for type of attitude. I feel like everyone at 160 driving academy from start to finish embodies that same mentality. I quietly had so much going on in life, and need to handle situations, make money on the side to stay on top of bills, as I lost my job and car to an accident were I was T boned. Isaiah convinced me to continue with no days off so I could go in get it done and over. As I get to the yard I then meet Anton, and one of his 1st messages was that I can work with you all day long as long as you don’t give up on me. He completely stood by that statement to say the least. Oh yeah, Anton grades you fairly tough so don’t expect for him to baby you. He wants you to be confident and know your stuff. I finally meet Fletcher who was on vacation my 1st week on the yard and instantly I begin feeling comfortable about how to control this trailer when doing maneuvers. He knows all the little details that will help you while operating that truck. Umm, did I mention he is the Pre-trip God…He also constantly reminded me you will be just fine, maybe he saw the attentiveness in my eyes but I appreciate it.Now, Sergeant was the basic trainer in my eyes as you need basic training before advance training with Fletcher… and lastly Q is there support person and he is more attentive than you may think but I tried to keep this nice and brief so thank you all for your support… They need better trucks if I had any complaint but hey that’s not under their control.… Anton, Fletcher and the team keep doing a GREAT JOB!!!! One and Done…IT CAN BE DONE!!!

Female truck driver here, I attended 160 in the past, Ron was amazing very helpful and encouraged me from the beginning to the end. Anton and fletcher speak to female students inappropriately, and I will never forget when Anton use to torment me when I struggled with my backing. So to the new students out there don't allow him to belittle you because you're having a hard time with backing. It took him 8 years, and more than 3 attempts to pass his cdl test. He also raised his voice at me in front of other students, and told me I would never get a cdl. Clearly that’s not the case. So to the current students take your time, be patient, and 160 please look in to getting more respectful instructors with better communication skills. There wasn't a Lucinda in my class at all. Someone who's focused on learning isn't about to comment on another persons experience that they weren't even there for. You don't know me, and you wasn't in school with me. I have nothing to do with your learning. Ghost don't get to tell anyone what they learn, but my license does. I came to show all the instructors my appreciation because there were helpful instructors. Like I mentioned above. That's all. It's behind me now.

I just got my CDL after completing 160 driving academy. The instructors are awesome and they are all dedicated to making sure you pass on the first try. “1 and done” is they’re motto. I had a great experience. Donna, Fletcher, Anton, Tom, Rocko and Mike are all A1 instructors and truly care about the students at 160. They are very hands on and are there to help whenever you need them. I’m happy with my 160 experience. 😁

Best decision I ever made to attend 160 Driving Academy. Great instructors, Anton took me In like one of his own. I wanted to quit so many times but he wouldn’t let me. Fletch gone make sure you get all the information you need to pass. Tom showed tough love because he cared so much about me passing.Dona also a great instructor who makes you feel comfortable & she’s very passionate. Mike runs a great program at 160, I’m glad I made the decision to attend.
