A fun place to shop. Vinyl records, books, and collectibles, all easy to search through. New and used items. Can bring you own items in for exchange or sell. An easy place to spends hours. Only downfall is they must not have a catalog of the items they have, asked several employees for certain items but they had no way if telling us if they had it or not. Lots of parking.
Lots of book choices at good prices. Big selection of Manga, which my Grandson loves. Staff are very nice and bringing in books for store credit or cash is an easy process. When buying, check the price on each book of the same title because used books and new ones are sometimes mixed together and hard to tell apart. Will definitely go to this store again.
Now that I've gotten the extremely low offer for the very nice stuff I turned in for value assessment. I wish I had taken a picture of all the items, before selling them to show proof, I will however put a few pictures of what I did show them that I thought would be worth something, correct me if I'm wrong please!! One of the items alone by itself that I turned in for value assessment, is selling for $50 + shipping on ebay at the cheapest, selling, not just listed, for reference it's listed for on average $75+/- (for reference if you want to look it up, it is the McFarlane toy store exclusive, signed edition of the original spawn and Todd McFarlane 30th anniversary two pack, it's a limited production signed variant. For even better reference the store currently has the unsigned variant for sale right now for $55.96. I turned in one discontinued LEGO, by itself that's on eBay for $40 + shipping (women of NASA set, discontinued) I had a Masters of the universe prop replica 1/8 scale skeletor staff that was limited to 3000 pieces, it is made of real metal. That one have a couple of listings on eBay for $50+ and sells on average for $35 plus shipping. There was a few small race car Legos (1 McLaren sienna, one Ferrari 430 spyder, and another small plastic bag McLaren 520s) I also had a couple of sealed, fairly common McFarlane DC multiverse figures, which I understand might be worth 3 to $5 each to them, that's reasonable because these were very common and not sought after ones, I turned in a McFarlane toy store exclusive spawns universe number 1 comic, which was only available 2 years ago when you ordered a specific amount of product. A transformers comic book from 1991. I Please if you do not believe me look up the few items that I listed on eBay, Amazon, Facebook marketplace, Etsy, wherever you want to sell/shop and see what these items are selling for. ******This place offered me for everything $55.10 cash value Or $80 store credit!!!****** In all honesty I'm not even going to waste my time and look up the average prices, which is what they said they were going to do to come up with the price. I'm going to do as I usually do and sell All these items on eBay for probably quadruple or more of what they offered. I still may take a loss on a couple of these items but $55 cash value for 11 items, six of which sell on eBay for an average of $35 plus shipping, Even if you take away the cost of charging for added shipping and chew up the shipping cost for the customer and the 13.125 percent that eBay eats up for fees You're still looking at and an average shipping cost of just over $23.00 each item, and this is a low estimate!! 6x23 equals $138.00!! You could even more than divide this in half and it would still equal more than the cash value they offered me!! If I had to guess their cash value is roughly 20% of what the online cell comps or for and their store credit is maybe 35% at best, toy Meister down the street gives you about 50% cash value and 55 to 60% for store credit and they will also do a mix of both if you desire!! Take your stuff elsewhere unless you want to get severely ripped off!!! They still get two stars because their prices on a few things are decent, they have a great very diverse collection, the place is clean, and most of the staff appears to be very nice. For better results try toy meister down the street, yester toys also down the street. For the best prices try Bella books and collectibles in the kemps River shopping center!!! It's one of the best comic book stores I've ever been to and their prices and staff are great!!
4/12/25 - Better than Barnes n Noble. Lots to see, lots of options. From books one of which is a very large manga section, music, posters, bags, etc. Prices are better as well. I am very excited to come back. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.
Very cool store if you want a mixture of new and old. Saw a lot of fun, nostalgic second hand stuff (cheat code books, how cool!). The prices were very good, with most everything priced to move. I think a good comparison is Barnes and Noble, but I would come to this store over that any day of the week. It was super fun, we lost a half hour just oohing and aweing at everything. Definitely stop in!
