I moved to the area a little over a year ago and was encouraged to find a barber to cut my hair. Reached out to 4:59 and was able to get in around my crazy work schedule. Had a great guy that started cutting my hair and after a few months he left. They set me up with another barber, and, again after a few months she left. Yet again, set up with another gal and went in for my second cut with her and she was let go when I was supposed to get a hair cut. They set up with another barber, making it my fourth personal in a little over a year. Not sure if it’s ownership or management style, but, don’t feel comfortable going there to get my hair cut anymore. If I can’t get consistency, I don’t want to be part of it.

I’ve gone to this place for years. I may have left some of the 5 star reviews because the barbers that get hired in are actually talented. The owner/ manager is shady. He over charges me after I paid last time. $40 for $25 beard trim. Caught me off guard and I didn’t say anything. I pay and then he says let’s book you for the next one and you’ll then only have to pay $25 next time. So I set up the appointment 12:30 in the future confirm it and write it in my calendar. I go in for said appointment and find out I’m booked at 4:00 either this guy is incompetent or just so enamored that he charged me $40 that he filled in the 4:00 time slot. Either way he’s lost my business. He’s the older blond guy usually doesn’t act as cashier. I’d just confirm if you still want to go there price of service before you sit in the chair. The reason this place is so highly rated is because of the talent not the business. There are very few good barbers that have stuck around more than a few months
