I went here two days ago looking for a few items and spotted so many racist caricatures, not limited to but including mammy dolls/figurines (if you don’t know what that is, look it up. The Jim Crow museum has a page about it) in one of the businesses. When we went into one of the other buildings the woman behind the counter was telling a racist story about a “Mexican” taking pictures outside. I’m not sure why it seems they are comfortable with casual racism but I won’t ever be back, and if you care about a business allowing racism, then you shouldn’t go either.
What an amazing spot with so much to see! The whole staff was amazingly helpful and friendly! Fantastic spot! The best antique shop out of all the ones in Sacramento. Read a comment about employees hovering? They were so kind and offered to bring anything I was holding back up to the front so I can roam freely without having to hold onto items. Will definitely be back!
Had fun here. There are 80 something vendors that sell their items. I was nostalgic seeing a lot of my childhood here that was long forgotten. They have a 20% sell, strip mall parking, friendly workers.
This is your One-Stop shop for almost all of your antiquing needs. There are many stores from which to choose, and many of the stores have multiple vendors inside. You can find just about anything you're looking for, the one exception would be large things (such as really big old signs, stagecoaches, motorcycles and that sort of thing). Every store has a slightly different atmosphere, so don't be surprised if it feels a little dingy. Don't think about going here just for your own needs. If you have a friend or family member that really likes older things this would be a great place to look for gifts for them. It's probably about 70% female centric, but that other 30% has some pretty cool things for guys (and masculine women).
