I picked up an antique bookcase, recently, to fill a spot that needed something unique and it had to be oak and preferably quarter sawn. OK...so I'm picky. I found it in Irwindale and when I picked it up I realized that it was in just OK condition. Sturdy and not falling apart but needed some love. A&A did an amazing job in bringing it back to life. They are masters of their craft. They were on time, reasonable and personable as well. I am happy to recommend them to whomever is willing to listen.

I've had a couple pieces restored both turned out beautifully. A inlayed coffee table and a singer sewing machine. When we picked up the sewing machine it was much lighter than I thought and wanted, so I called them. Very nice an said to bring it back in they would restain it at no charge. That is the way to run a business. I appreciated their customer service.
I filled out the request for quote on restoring a 100+ year old secretarial desk. I received an email the next day asking for photos of the furniture. I took photos and emailed them back that same hour I had received the request for a quote. Three days go by and I do not hear back from them. I then send an email asking them if they were going to give me a quote and if they did not want to do the job then let me know so I can find another vendor. Four days go by and no response, so I deleted their email and assumed they did not want my business, if they did they would have called me on the phone or replied to my reply to their email. This person, or business waisted my time. Time has value and I have a desk I hoped would be in for repair or back and finished by now, yet I have to start all over again.
