I wasn't in a rush and only 8 bucks to hem a new pair of pants I ordered and he even fixed a button on a shirt for free. I'll definitely be back.

Almost free where? Ridiculous I don’t know how he stays in business. Gave me a quote $173 for a dress that need 2 inches off not that desperate I took it else where paid $25 thank you Maria Alterations your the best!

On 10-19-24, I went into Almost free Alterations. I needed my zipper replaced. He wanted to charge me $480.00 bc I wanted it done ASAP. Total ripoff. He then tells me “He’s a business man”!! He’s a crook. Don’t go to this place. Worst place Ever

He wanted to charge me $10.00 per shirt to remove a 1/4 inch seam from one shirt pocket. He showed me a rate schedule in an old hand-scribbled 3 ring binder. If I could wait 7 days it would have been cheaper but the shop and his demeanor seemed so unprofessional to me that I will never go back again. Each shirt should have taken him less than a minute to complete and the only tool required is an inexpensive seam cutter. At 6 shirts in 6 minutes he wanted to charge $60.00. That’s an incredible $600.00 an hour! Definitely not “Almost Free.”
