We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with the A Catered Affair team for our WAYS Empowers Fundraising Event for the past three years, and every experience has been amazing. The food is consistently fresh, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed by our entire group each year. Our guests always compliment the menu, which is a true testament to the quality they deliver. Their team is attentive, professional, and did an amazing job keeping our setup well stocked throughout each event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We’ve been so pleased with their service and reliability that continuing to work with them year after year has been an easy decision. All I can say is Wow! We just got done with a Christmas party for my husband‘s staff and had A Catered Affair make all of the main dishes. It was a smashing success! Everybody raved about the food and in years past where we may have a lot of leftovers there’s very few because people were asking for doggy bags! The price of everything was so reasonable, too! We will certainly use a catered affair again. Thank you for your terrific quality and service.

Alright, I have no idea what took me this long to write a review for A Catered Affair, because it might honestly be my favorite overall restaurant in Omaha. They’ve been known for their catering forever, which means they buy in bulk, and when they decided to open up a café I was overjoyed. Now I probably visit 1–2 times a month (if not more), and somehow I love it more every time. The café is small and quaint, so it definitely gets busy during peak lunch and dinner hours, but it is worth the wait tenfold. Prices are fantastic thanks to their catering side of the business. You can even check out the counter with cold entrees to take home at amazing prices, and don’t get me started on the pastries. Incredible, amazing. Get the lemon bar and thank me later. The café itself has everything you could want: drinks, adult beverages, coffee, salads, sandwiches, seafood, and yes, breakfast all day. I’ve been obsessed with their newer salmon orzo plate, which is currently around 22 dollars and would easily be 35–45 dollars anywhere else. Their appetizers are all delicious and actually filling. The Caesar salad is my favorite in the city and everything is scratch made. The owners clearly love their business and it shows. They’re often out chatting with customers and making sure each visit feels top notch. For some people it might feel a little “out of the way,” but for me in northwest Omaha I’m just grateful it is in my area, and either way it is absolutely worth the drive or commute. I could go on and on, but when you do go, say hi if you see me there, because there’s a good chance I’ll be at a corner table happily eating something.

I cannot rave enough about ACA! They catered our wedding a few weekends ago, and we’re still hearing that it was the BEST wedding food anyone has ever had. The staff was professional, helpful, and went above and beyond. We brought in our own appetizers and had family helping serve, but ACA seamlessly stepped in to manage serving and clean-up. They left the venue kitchen spotless and even had a beautiful bag of leftovers ready for us. From the amazing taste test—where they treated us like royalty with comped drinks and incredible food—to their excellent communication throughout the process, ACA made the entire experience effortless and special. I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you, ACA! (Photos are from our taste test)

Great place for coffee or brunch! As a Texan visiting my bestie in Omaha, we stopped here for a chat and brunch before she dropped me off at the airport. The staff came to talk to us as it was our first visit, and I was really impressed with them and the atmosphere. Cute restaurant, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere for getting together with friends or maybe bringing your puppy or laptop.
