I came here in the winter and was amazed at the selection of houseplants. They also had some bonsais and pre-bonsais. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the greenhouses and the plants in the middle of a gray winter day. The staff was very friendly, as was the cat 😺

I heard good things about this place but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. A perfectly ok greenhouse, some nice finds for sure and some overpriced ones as well, as far as the house plants go that is. They do however have Gloximia which I haven’t seen elsewhere so that’s an excellent find

Rahn's has continued to expand and curate their offerings based on what's new, what's true, and their vast knowledge and generational experience in this field. Most recently, they have greatly expanded their houseplants, shrubs, and perennials. They have been the prime location in the Cincinnati area for annuals, pansies, poinsettia's, cyclamens, mums and other seasonal favorites for years. Here are some photos of my meager winnings this year.

We are really enjoying our spring haul from Rahn’s this summer. The hanging basket with fiber pot is the most beautiful one we ever had. The begonias are luscious. The big zinnias have gone nuts. We will see you again next May.

LOVE this place!! So excited to get a start on this year's garden! And contrary to my husband's belief, I did leave some for others..They have such a great selection and everything is so healthy...well organized, and set up to make it as safe as possible in these crazy times...if you've been hesitant to go because of the safe distancing thing, I found it to be very safety compliant...just don't go on a Saturday morning!
