I paint watercolor but Debbie also teaches acrylic and drawing and mixed media. She has helped me with selection of subject matter, perspective , adding contrast in my paintings. She is always willing to answer questions. I appreciate all the help she has given me. I also know she really enjoys teaching children. I have seen some of their amazing work! I hadn’t painted since high school. I am retired now and did not think, whatever talent I had, could be revived. A friend of mine, who attends Debbi’s classes, suggested I join the class. That was 2 years ago and, with the help and guidance from Debbi, I have several paintings of which I am very pleased. I look forward to my weekly classes. Debbi is a true professional and brings out the best in each of us. Classes are excellent as well as relaxed and fun. I highly recommend A Painted Canvas!!! My friend had a party to celebrate her graduation, it was SO much fun. I've never painted and I'm not artistic at all. My painting turned out beautiful ❤ I'm going to hang it in my home. Debbie the instructor is so talented, patient and kind. We were socially distant and safe as well. Great idea for a get together.
