We were sent to A+ Transmission to evaluate issues with our car. They ran diagnostics and found it was not an issue with the transmission but something else. Justin and another gentleman helped us what we needed to do next they were very helpful, we can't thank them enough for their expertise and will recommend A+ for their professional and honesty. David
I brought my car in for a transmission drain and refill right after Thanksgiving. On Friday, I had asked about the service and was quoted $89.99. Since it requires a specialty transmission fluid, I knew they’d need to order it, and I had to wait until the following week because the other shops were closed for the holiday. When I dropped the car off the next week, everything went smoothly. A few hours later I got the call that the work was finished, and when I came to pick it back up there was a little mix‑up on the price at first, but it was quickly adjusted back to the original $89.99 quote. The car ran smoothly afterward, and they explained that the fluid was very dark at 70,000 miles. They recommended changing it every 30,000 miles going forward. Overall, the process took some coordination around the holiday schedule, but the job was done right, the car feels good!
Starting off just know they’re amazing and very considerate men. So where do I start. I was having major setbacks with a company that sent my vehicle to these amazing guys. The gentleman took care of me once I was able to get their info and where vehicle was (previous company didn’t give me their info). They helped me put like no other has ever. I’ve unfortunately been affected by this government shutdown…they took care of me so well I was in tears…grateful proud tears. Thank y’all for doing everything yall could to assist me in these times. God will bless yall. Thank you for blessing me. Take y’all vehicles to them and let them take care of your car, you will not be disappointed. Finally got my vehicle back after 30+ days which was at no fault to them. They will I promise, take care of you and your vehicle.
The service at the N. Houston Rosslyn location was outstanding. From my very first call through to pickup, John and Justin were professional, helpful, and transparent. They provided a free diagnostic that went beyond just the transmission, complete with clear photos and detailed explanations of all the areas inspected. I really appreciated the fair, upfront pricing—no surprises, just honest work. The shop itself was clean and clearly well maintained, which speaks to the pride they take in their work. Work can be two of three ways in the automotive world, good, fast, or cheap. A Plus is good and fast, but they aint cheap. However, these guys accurately diagnosed a very torn up 6L80 in my Caprice, repaired it properly, and have provided excellent customer service since performing the service. I took my car on a 1000+ mile road trip the day after I picked it up and it worked exactly as expected. No leaks, and performs consistently, plus the best warranty Ive heard of in automatic transmissions. They were kind enough to replace the rear main seal while they were in there to prevent even more issues down the road. If you care about your car and want it worked on by professionals, take it to these guys.
