Outstanding driving instructor. Colin is the real deal. What I appreciated most is that he doesn’t sugarcoat things. He tells you exactly what you need to hear to become a safe and competent driver. No fluff, no ego and just clear, honest instruction. That kind of straightforward feedback is incredibly valuable when you’re learning something as serious as driving. He’s pragmatic and very hands-on. Colin focuses on the practical skills that actually matter on the road and explains them clearly so they stick. He’s extremely observant and thorough, catching small mistakes and correcting them right away so good habits form quickly. He also knows exactly how the DMV test works and prepares you efficiently so you can pass it, without trying to drag the process out or sell you unnecessary extra lessons. If you’re ready, he’ll tell you. I passed on my first test, even though I was an older driver and had never driven before. Colin made the whole process straightforward and manageable. Patient, witty, experienced, and very real. Highly recommend.
