A friend recommended us contacting Mr. Michael DiSalvo for SAT/ACT testing preparation. Our son had already scored ok, but had higher ambitions, as well as had some test anxiety. Michael was the perfect match in advancing his testing abilities, along with being a big support and advisor in many ways. Prior to having lessons with Michael, our son scored a 1420 on his SAT test, but after having the great opportunity to learn from him, he scored 1540 on the SAT test. We are so happy that we could engage with Mr. DiSalvo and highly recommend him for anyone who has the intention to get their child “well prepared” for SAT/ACT testing. Thank you Michael! We received Michael's information from friends that had success with Michael and their childrens' successful standardized test scores. I knew working one on one would be best for my daughter. We were very pleased with the growth in her test scores both in the ACT and SAT after working with Michael. We are very pleased our daughter reached beyond her goal scores! I'd like to thank Michael for working with my daughter Ryan. Ryan already had a great GPA and good standardized test scores, and we knew with the right coach she could achieve some very impressive scores. With Michael's patience and systematic approach, and focusing in on the math and the types of mistakes she was making, we were able to get her to a 35 on her ACT. Although Ryan was working very hard to study on her own, I am not sure that she would have gotten to such levels by herself. We had tried the ACT and SAT group sessions, self study books, flash cards, etc. with our older 2 daughters. We tried Michael for our 3rd daughter and can’t recommend him enough! We knew our daughter had some potential, but he truly actuated it despite some personal setbacks. I'm happy to say that my daughter got a 34 on her ACT after working with Michael. I hired Michael DiSalvo of A+ tutoring to work with my son who was running out of time to get the score he needed on the ACT. Though we were challenged by using an abbreviated course to get us where we needed to go, Michael was able to get my child to as much as a 12 point increase on practice tests before test day with his techniques and steps. Unfortunately, my son's calculator did not work on test day and he was shaken, but he still knew the material so thoroughly and the techniques so well that he got the score he needed. I think Michael's program will work for any hard-working student and I thank Michael for helping my son get into his chosen college with his high quality ACT test prep.
