Subsequent to receiving a formal letter from my prior Medicare Advantage insurance provider, indicating that, as of 1/1/26, they would cease to provide coverage in New Hampshire - my home state - I engaged in carefully filtered Internet research as to the remaining retiree health insurance options in my region: In the fast-approaching wilderness between neat and reassuring health insurance ID cards, and already experiencing worried specialist office holds and outright cancellations of early 2026 appointments, I trawled arm's length reviews; selected (non 'End-Times') YouTube primers and market surveys for a deeper dive. Given the prospect of fast-emerging bureaucratic footnotes and gotcha crevasses generously enriching the senior application experience, I prudently decided to canvass the small world of licensed health insurance brokers focused on Medicare. It was here that, leveraging my later IT career roles in IT management, I proceeded to parlay my 'Kicked Upstairs' job skills in business liaison and company performance analysis. it wasn't long before I settled on contacting Abt Insurance Agency to establish how their CEO Stephanie Abt's following business-savvy mission statement would fare in an easygoing encounter with NYC-honed business liaison: "I built my Agency on the idea people deserve a trusted guide when working to navigate the world of insurance, and especially the confusing maze of Medicare." To get to the point of this review, her above mission statement fared superbly in the light of the courteously dynamic initial contact with, and prompt response by Stephanie herself; through her expeditious referral to one of her on-point Licensed Agents, Jake Wombacker; through to his prompt followup, clearly ready across the board to walk us both in tandem through the heroic Medicare options maze, to a regionally and personally customized solution set, succinctly summarized, and standing fully ready to answer any relevant question. The whole, in a followup e-mail received in short order, was then clearly summarized and accompanied as well by a proposed spread sheet of realistic month by month 2026 projected health expenses in the light of the best fit, among available health insurance plans emerging from the brutal winnowing of 4th quarter 2025! Clearly, Stephanie Abt's confident mission statement, above, fully reflected as well, from start to finish, in Agent Jake's standard-setting trifecta of consummate courtesy, master-class planning, and bullet-proof Results, thus fully earning its wings as a well-oiled business model! In summary, I render witness in the larger view, that my textbook health insurance cutover in an already busy holiday and signup window - this further beset by historic service changes impacting much of the Medicare constituency, in tandem with many health providers - amply reflects Agent Jake Wombacker's guru-level command of his business process and analytical functions, as well as Stephanie Abt's award-quality leadership, and thereby Abt Insurance Agency's overall standard-setting expertise (with an emphatic nod here to their blue-ribbon health insurance application web site!) and consummate courtesy in meeting customer needs and concerns in a complex and fast-evolving health insurance market. Kudos all around! Armand Villemont
