We had a great experience with Academic Driving School. My son took both his driving lessons and the required driving course there to get his license, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Derek was excellent, professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. He made the learning process clear and comfortable, which really helped build my son’s confidence. I highly recommend Academic Driving School to anyone looking for quality driving instruction.

Awesome Experience With Derrick! Process was quick since I had some knowledge on the road already! Took the 6 Lessons Behind The Wheel, took Road Test and passed! If you have driving anxiety or just have deep procrastination, Derrick make the process easy for any type of person! Update: 1/16/25 got the license in the mail 📬 took about 15 days!

Academic driving school was able to fit my son into their program on short notice. Especially around the holidays. He was able to obtain all of his behind the wheel hours in a timely fashion. They took care of the paperwork for him to get his license. Overall, Fantastic experience

My experience with Academic Driving School touched my heart. When I started my private driving lessons, I could not speak English well, and I felt afraid and unsure of myself. But my instructor treated me with so much kindness, patience, and respect. He understood me even when my English was limited. He spoke calmly, explained everything with care, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I never felt judged or pressured. Instead, I felt supported and encouraged, which helped me gain confidence not only in driving, but also in myself. This experience reminded me that learning is possible when you are treated with dignity and compassion. I am deeply thankful to Academic Driving School for their professionalism and humanity. I highly recommend them to anyone especially those who feel nervous or are still learning English. You will be in safe and caring hands. Derrick you’re the best instructor

Hands down Russ Mitchell is top tier!! The best driving instructor. Calm, kind, and a perfect fit for this position. Academic driving school was flexible and accommodating. Their availability was impressive, even completing driving school on Christmas Eve. I will recommend this driving school and instructor to anyone and everyone.
