This was our first year working with Accounting 4 DC and we had a great experience! Stephanie and her team member, Jill, were super responsive when I had questions, reasonably priced, and overall really easy to work with. The best accounting experience I have had to date, and we look forward to working with them again next year! Would recommend!!

As a bi-national couple (who has lived both in and outside of the US), Stephanie's guidance and counsel has been invaluable to us as we've navigated various work and life changes. Stephanie is a pleasure to work with, offers timely and sound advice, and is well versed in a wide range of tax and accounting issues. I can safely say the most important thing a small business owner can do is make smart decisions. The problem is, sometimes we are faced with decisions to be made in an area we have ZERO experience in. That is where I found myself. I started with a sole proprietorship that grew. After reviewing the options, it seemed a Sub Chapter S was the best structure for me. And my prior accounting firm claimed they could handle. Well, long story short, my former accounting firm may have the ambition but lacked the skill...we encountered a problem with the Sub S filing....a problem that lasted MONTHS and held up plans all because my former accountant literally did not know what they were doing. In desperation, I started looking for another accounting firm to talk to and at least see if this was normal. By SHEER LUCK, I found Stephanie and contacted her. Explained the situation. She asked to see my documents....and what my former accountant could not do in EIGHT MONTHS of mistakes Stephanie and her team fixed, completed and had done in FIVE DAYS. The Staff at Accounting 4 DC is nothing short of talented, professional, knowledgeable and utterly amazing. They actually seem to listen and CARE about the headaches I was dealing with, working with me to get everything the way I had wanted. And at a FAIR price no less! They are always willing to help with issues, fast in getting work done and no surprises in billing!! Bottom line, from my experience, becoming a client of Accounting 4 DC and working with Stephanie and her team is one of the smartest business and personal decisions you can make....assuming you can appreciate truly smart and talented human beings in this increasingly AI oriented world.

I worked with Stephanie Gibney to do both my quarterly estimated taxes as an independent contractor, and my annual return along with my husband's, jointly. I had a very complicated (to me!) tax situation, but Stephanie was nothing but informative and patient throughout, and she ended up helping me straighten everything out. She was extremely responsive and helpful with all of my many questions, and she helped me to not only understand how best to navigate my tax situation, but to feel comfortable doing so. I cannot recommend Accounting 4 DC enough. A very enthusiastic 5 stars!

We have used Accounting 4 DC for our tax prep for 8 years, which includes our personal taxes and my wife's small business (LLC). Stephanie and her team have been fast, professional, responsive, and so helpful. Rates are reasonable as well. It has given us great peace of mind knowing that we had such an excellent team taking care of our taxes. Stephanie has also been available for the occasional tax question which has been super helpful. Highly recommend!
