This place is always on my bucket list to visit when I return to St. Louis for the holidays. The menu is always rotating and evolving to incorporate a variety of options. Because we aren't in town often each time we go we ended up each selecting Acero's four course tasting menu that provides an abundance of flavor, fullness, and offered at an amazing price. Additionally, the serves, especially Jess, is always a delight.

Whiskey cocktail 8/10, love the cherry, very manhattan Crudo was fine Linguini is cooked to the point I like! Shrimp could never go wrong Rare ribeye!! Yayy!! First ever steak at fine dining (normally a seafood person) Panna Cotta was 20/10!! Huge love to the not-too-sweet dessert😍😍 even with the caramel sauce the sweetness is perfect, almond scent I love Acero is The Crossing’s sister restaurant, but more pure-blood Italian

This has become our go-to special occasion restaurant. The food is always amazing and the specials align with what is in season. The servers know their stuff. They can tell you what region the dishes and wines are from and are happy to suggest pairings. As for dress code, you will feel comfortable in a nice pair of jeans, nice shirt and dress shoes, dressed to the nines, or somewhere in between.

Was given a gift card here and ordered the 4-course tasting menu. Several options in each course. Delicious and bring your appetite. Our server was very helpful as were all the employees. Great for a special evening!

We just had our second dinner at Acero and it was an incredible experience. Both times we’ve done the chef’s grand tasting menu, which is entirely worth it! The food is beyond belief and the service is always fantastic. Our waiter Harris explained each dish which made the experience even better. We also got to meet Chef Nick, who created these amazing dishes. My favorite from the menu was the skatewing, which was unlike anything I’d ever had and just a perfect bite. My fiancée’s favorite was the mushroom risotto. Ultimately, everything was fantastic and we will be back! Highly recommend!
