Came in to check for viral and bacterial infection. All to find out the test they sent to the labs was only for viral infection. Meaning I’d have to come back and retest etc. They also charged me for a no show fee of $50 which was actually a rescheduled appointment not a no show…. I talked to the front desk about it and they said they would refund if I emailed their team. I’m emailed with no reply. Felt like a waste of time.

I wish I had read the other reviews about billing. This business is very poorly managed. They went out of network with Blue Shield and failed to notify patients in any way. It wasn’t mentioned when I called to schedule the appointment, nor when I checked in. The front desk staff even confirmed my insurance... Only afterward did I receive a $500 bill. If they can’t properly manage or communicate a major change like an insurance network status, I don’t trust them to handle billing. They don’t seem to care about customer experience or feedback. This is not a provider I would feel comfortable trusting with my healthcare.

Avoid Action Urgent Care – Westgate Center (Hamilton Ave) Location I’ve been trying to resolve a billing issue with Action Urgent Care since August 5th, 2025, and despite multiple personal visits, phone calls, and messages, I’ve received no meaningful follow-up or resolution. My visit on July 15th was for an annual health check, which should be fully covered by insurance. However, the bill was incorrectly coded, and I’ve been charged $110.28. I’ve spoken with multiple staff members including Jillian, Joyce, Zalyka, Jaden, and even involved my insurance provider (Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield) and Quest Diagnostics, all of whom attempted to help. Yet, Action Urgent Care has failed to follow through on promised updates or corrections. Their automated billing system is frustrating and unresponsive, and even after being told the CPT code was corrected, the bill remains unchanged. I’ve been promised callbacks and email follow-ups that never came. If you value transparency, responsiveness, and proper billing practices, I strongly recommend avoiding the Westgate Center Hamilton Ave location of Action Urgent Care.

I was very impressed with this clinic. The staff and doctors were very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time with me and I didn't feel rushed at all. Just a great experience all around. I would definitely came back here again.

They always take good care of me. This time it was because I needed stitches taken out of the top of my hand. Everyone I interacted with was caring and helpful. And the doctor did such a good job of taking the stitches out that I barely noticed it was happening. He even recommended that I try some zinc oxide cream to possibly heal faster.
