The rice reminded me of Halal Guys’ rice. The chicken was good but could have been marinated more and chopped into smaller pieces, as they were a bit too large. The salad included a variety of vegetables, which was a plus. Adding pita to the platter would be a great improvement.

5/5 Food, taste, prices, portions. Everything is 5+stars. We ordered Philly cheese steak, chicken burger w/ fries and chicken & lamb on rice and it all tasted so delicious and cooked to the right temperature and so fresh. So glad that our vacation in NJ included eating at this yummy food cart.

I was craving some classic New York-style Halal Guys cart food for dinner on a weekday night, and a quick Google search led me to this gem in Hoboken. The reviews were glowing—and after trying it myself, I can say they were absolutely spot on. There was already a small line (3–4 people) when I got there, which was a good sign. I went for the classic: meat over rice. The beef steak was thinly sliced, perfectly grilled, and packed with smoky, bold flavors. The yellow rice was aromatic and tasty, pairing beautifully with the meat. Another highlight was the freshness of the salad on the side—crisp lettuce, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes—all super fresh and refreshing. Overall, the portion size was huge. I couldn’t even finish it in one sitting. Overall, this place checks all the boxes: affordable, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!

The food is perfectly seasoned and portions are very filling! I had their chicken gyro and loved how flavorful it was! They always put a perfect amount of sauce making the gyro juicy and the salad adds that refreshing touch! Highly recommend for sure! My sister also had the lamb salad and the mixed chicken and lamb with rice and salad and she loved it! Staff is also very friendly and welcoming!
