I contacted Adams Furniture Repair to get a quote for repairing a piece of wood furniture that was damaged by movers. Phil responded and gave me a couple quotes based on photos I sent but gave a realistic expectation that he would need to see the piece in person due to the damage being against the grain to see if an in-home touch up could be done or if the entire surface would need to be refinished (no one else I contacted even mentioned this and some charged for an in person evaluation which Adam's Furniture Repair doesn't). He came and evaluated the piece and we decided to do an in home touch up which I'm really pleased with! I've had this piece since I was a child so it has sentimental value as well as being a quality piece. He also did a couple smaller fixes on two other pieces of furniture I had. He's very knowledgeable about wood furniture repairs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! Before and after photos attached.

5 out of 5. Adams does top quality work at a good price. Recently one of the side rails broke on my queen bed. I thought I was going to have to go out and buy a new bed frame; but I was afraid of doing that because my wife would then want the matching dresser, mirror, and night stand. So I called Adams to see if this was something they could do, and they said to bring it by so they could see. I took the broken side rail to Adams' shop, while my wife went looking at new bed sets. Philip the owner and Scott the craftsman said, yes, they could make a new one. Four days later I picked up the new rail, which fit the old frame perfectly and was an exact color match. Fortunately (for me), my bed was as good as new for just $200. Which was a lot better than the $3,000 bedroom suite that was the alternative. (I'll make it up to her later.). My husband & I were so pleased with our whole experience with Adam’s Furniture Repair. Phil is the person who helped us with coming to our home to look at the table we needed to have repaired. First he got here just when he said he would ! Second he was polite , knowledgeable & professional. They did the repair for us at a fair price & it took less time than he had told us .
