Went to this Urgent Care because it was the closest to my apartment. I had cut my finger really bad needed stitches on new years eve 😭. The front staff was were so helpful and nice. There was no wait time at all and once I was in the back the nurse was quick to assess my wound. She was patient, kind and made me laugh which was great because I was in pain. The only thing was I had to wait for about 30 mins before the doctor could stich me up because he was the only one on call no fault of his just poor scheduling other that If I need an urgent care this is the place I would go... FYI I had to go back to get my stitches out once again great experience.

I initially presented with a cut that had been bleeding persistently since approximately 8:00 p.m., Jan. 6th. Despite multiple attempts at direct pressure for 20 minutes or more, the bleeding repeatedly restarted once pressure was released. During an earlier visit, a clinician indicated that suturing was an option; however, I declined at that time in hopes that conservative management would be sufficient. When I returned due to continued bleeding overnight, the interaction with Dr. Kaitlin Ponzio felt dismissive and minimizing of my concerns. I was told there was “little bleeding,” despite the fact that approximately 20 minutes prior to evaluation, the wound had begun actively bleeding again and blood was dripping down my hand when the bandage was loosened. This bleeding only stopped after the wound was tightly rewrapped. I was advised that no further intervention was necessary beyond additional bandaging and was told the wound would heal on its own, without a clear explanation for the change in management compared to the earlier visit. When I asked follow-up questions to better understand the reasoning and how to safely manage the wound at home, the tone of the interaction made me feel as though my concerns were a burden rather than valid questions about my care. I left the visit feeling confused and unsupported, with limited guidance other than returning if bleeding soaked through the bandage. Given the persistence of the bleeding and the need for tight pressure to control it, I did not feel reassured that my situation had been fully evaluated or that my concerns were taken seriously. As a Black patient, I am particularly sensitive to having symptoms minimized, and this interaction reinforced that concern. I am not writing to challenge medical judgment, but rather to highlight issues of communication, consistency, and how my concerns were addressed. I am submitting this complaint so that this experience can be reviewed and to help ensure that patients with ongoing symptoms feel heard, respected, and clearly informed about their care.

I had an incredible experience under horrible circumstances at the ER. The entire staff was truly amazing—so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. Every person I interacted with made me feel cared for and supported, which means so much during such a stressful time. They took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I’m so grateful for their compassion and professionalism. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond. Highly recommend this ER.

I brought my daughter in recently because she wasn’t feeling well, and Dr. A and her staff were absolutely wonderful. From check-in to checkout, everyone was kind, patient, and professional. Dr. A took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure my daughter felt comfortable and cared for. The staff was efficient and so friendly, which really made a stressful situation easier. I truly appreciate the care and compassion shown to us. I highly recommend Dr. A and her amazing team!
