The Contemplative Outreach Center Denver is an amazing place to experience community. There are many opportunities for learning, growing, and “being” in the Center. The practice of Centering prayer in the chapel is a great place to start. The recent mini retreat with Rick Klein as speaker was inspiring, uplifting, and entertaining as he shared insights on Suffering As A Path of Transformation. In the process we practiced some Buddhist meditations on healing which continue to resonate with me.

I discovered this sanctuary of fellowship and my spiritual home base 17 years ago. What a life changing experience! My practice of the prayer technique Centering Prayer has changed my life. Thanks be to God for Thomas Keating, his beloved sharing and rebirthing of this ancient Prayer technique.

CCL can create a revolution in your individual life and in the life of the entire planet. It is a center in which ordinary people with lives in the world can learn and practice meditation, which we call centering prayer, in a Christian tradition. To get more info, people interested can look us up on line or knock on the door from 10 am to 3 pm Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
