Approximately three years ago, I hired A&E Brothers Roofing to replace my roof at my home. The work specifically involved installing new metal roofing on the sloped sections and completely replacing the flat roof portion. My decision was based on the understanding that I was investing in a durable solution, expertly installed, that would provide lasting protection for my home. The contract included specific assurances regarding the quality of materials and workmanship, and I relied heavily on these explicit and implied warranties as a cornerstone of our agreement. However, my peace of mind proved tragically short-lived. Just recently, a mere three years after the installation, the flat section of my roof developed extensive and damaging leaks. This premature failure, particularly on such a critical component of the roofing system, was alarming. Upon reviewing my original contract, I fully expected the company to stand by their commitments and address this issue under the terms of our agreement. My attempts to seek redress were met with an astonishing revelation: A&E Brothers Roofing had undergone a change of ownership. While the new entity continues to operate under the identical business name, effectively trading on the established reputation and goodwill of its predecessor, I was unequivocally informed that they would not honor any warranties or contractual obligations made under the previous ownership. This situation presents not merely a logistical challenge but a profound ethical breach. To maintain the same corporate identity and branding, thereby implying continuity and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, while simultaneously disavowing fundamental responsibilities to pre-existing clients, is deeply misleading and, frankly, unconscionable. It leaves customers like myself, who meticulously chose a contractor based on perceived reliability and guarantees, completely exposed and without recourse. Such practices fundamentally erode consumer trust, undermine the value of contractual agreements, and demonstrate a severe lack of corporate accountability. My experience has resulted in considerable financial distress and inconvenience. It underscores the critical importance of exhaustive due diligence when selecting contractors for significant home improvements. I urge anyone contemplating A&E Brothers Roofing for future projects to proceed with the utmost vigilance. Instead, I strongly advocate for seeking out companies with a verifiable, long-standing operational history, a clear track record of honoring their commitments, and, most importantly, warranty policies that are not only transparently documented but explicitly stated as transferable in the event of ownership changes. A contractor's true integrity is revealed not just in their initial promise, but in their unwavering commitment to stand by their work, irrespective of internal business transitions.

This is the second time I hired A&E Brothers Roofing. They did an excellent job on my first repair two years ago (still perfect with no issues). Now I had three areas that needed repairs and was worried about cost and the amount of time it would take. From the time of the estimate to when the repair was started was less than a week, this was excellent turnaround! The roofer that worked on my roof showed me pictures of each layer in the repairs so I could see all the steps taken, he took great pride in his work and understood how important it was to me that the repairs were done properly. I was impressed by the completeness of the repairs including beams and plywood, the work was excellent and the roofer took extra time to do things perfectly… my barrel tile roof looks excellent with no flaws. Thanks for the wonderful staff who always answered my calls immediately and were able to coordinate the work perfectly. I highly recommend A&E… it is the right company for your roof repairs if you like a perfect repair, done fast, done right, and at a great price!!!
